I traveled to Jefferson Wisconsin to show two kittens: Boydsbengals Molto Bella and Paradiseapple Katarina. Getting kittens trained for shows is the goal. Both of the kittens soon became comfortable on the judging tables. Our friend Melody Boyd flew into town and showed a lovely boy named Boydsbengals Storm Breaker. He did very well. We also got to see Dracarysbengals Raksha who lives in Illinois.

2 year old Andi is at the front of this photo - this is after we got home from Texas. I flew to Texas with Andi because she had 191 points. That means she only needed 9 points to earn the Grand Champion title. we did get 4 points at the show. Andi was up against two great males. Our friends at Aloracats brought a big beautiful male and our friend Melissa brought a big male. Andi and I both enjoyed ourselves and we hope to get to another show. 5 points is the goal, but if it does not happen we are ok with it. It is fun to get to shows and see our friends.
2020 brought some strange changes. I went to several TICA shows in mid 2020. Most CFA shows were cancelled throughout the nation. Finally one was not cancelled, in Sanford, Florida. I flew there with two cats: Paintedcats New Day (Andi) and Wildcatsstars August Moon (Augie). They both did well, but I was just happy to have a CFA show. Here is a photo of me carrying August Moon after one of the rings. Augie was not fond of showing so we will not force him. Andi is an experienced show cat and she loves traveling with me, so we will keep showing her.
Paintedcats New Day's regional award for Best Bengal in the Midwest region. Our friend Melody Boyd at Boydsbengals took Andi to shows and helped her get this win.
At 4 months old, Paintedcats New Day (Andi) we showed in Georgia (5 finals) and Michigan (1 Final). At five months New Day traveled to Plant City Florida and earned 5 out of 6 finals with two 2nd best all breed and 1 best all breed. In Lexington Kentucky New Day had 7 out of 10 finals. New Day was shown by our friend Melody Boyd of BoydsBengals.
Andi finished the show season with a Regional Win for Best Bengal kitten!
As an adult she is nine points from her Grand Champion award. She traveled to Sanford, Florida to compete in December 2020, and she will travel to Houston January 9.
Thanks to my friends Jennifer and Marlon at Aloracats Bengals for showing this beautiful male in CFA. On August 26, 2018 he became the Gulf Shore region's first grand champion Bengal, PaintedCats Armand de Brignac (Bubbles). He has sired the next generation already and now Jennifer and Marlon are showing his son Aloracats Jamison (Bubbles Junior).
I attended this show with three 4 month old female kittens. Paintedcats November received one Best of Breed, and Paintedcats Ella got one final. Paintedcats Matilda received best of breed five times and was in three finals. The image is of judge Jan Rogers with Matilda.
